Do I need an architect or plans before I call you? No. Some clients come with finished plans from an architect or designer, others with a sketch or just an idea. Either way, talk to me — I'll help you shape it, and I can show you a 3D design when it helps you decide. Can you scan my home before we design anything? Yes. I use a Matterport 3D camera to capture your space as a walk-through digital model with exact measurements. It's the starting point for the 3D design, the budget and the plan — and you can share the tour with family, your architect or your lender. What does an owner's representative do? I work for you — not for a supplier or a subcontractor. I turn your vision into a written scope, budget and schedule, keep change orders in writing and update you every week until the project is 100% complete. If I build the job, I pull the permit under my licenses and supervise the licensed trades. If you hire another registered contractor, that contractor pulls the permit and I oversee the work for you. Are you licensed? Yes. I hold an unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CS-123658), I'm a registered MA Home Improvement Contractor (HIC #220484) and a certified MA Lead-Safe Renovator Supervisor. Can you take over a project someone else started? Yes. I'll assess what's done, what's done wrong and what's left, then give you a clear written plan and price to get it finished. My home was built before 1978. Is that a problem? Not with me. Homes built before 1978 may contain lead paint.
